So, what is this laptop you got then? Well, it's a Fijitsu Seimens laptop and I have no idea what model it is, and I received it as a Christmas present from my parents when I was in Year 7 (First year of high-school) for study and recreational purposes, and also so I'd stop scrapping with my sister over the computer.
What's wrong with it then?
Well, being over 6 years old, things do eventually go wrong. The plastic surrounding the fan has gone, the laptop is far too warm for comfort, the fan may not even work properly, it had to be rebooted, and despite only having Chrome, Skype, iTunes and Open Office on this thing -- it will not open Chrome for 10 minutes after turning the damn thing on, it cries (metaphorically) when opening a new tab, and finally --- IT GAVE ME THE BLUE SCREEN ONCE.
(I don't even know how it survived it as I stared and nearly burst into tears)
So, why haven't I replaced this yet with a much newer and more reliable model?
- I can't afford my UKCat test, let alone a new computer!
- I love it too much. Honestly. I've grown up and learnt the internet with this trainwreck of a laptop.
I also started cleaning the Sixth Form room today and started a poll about fundraisers to improve the room instead of my Welsh Bacc work. Mwhahahaha!
That's all folks,
Amy!
